Whilst it is normal to sweat, this can become a problem when it occurs when temperatures are cooler or at rest. In treating hyperhidrosis we will administer injections which will disable the eccrine and apocrine glands, which in return will prevent them from producing and secreting sweat.

Prior to the treatment

Before starting the treatment, you will attend a consultation with one of our experts in order to talk about your symptoms and decide whether this treatment is suitable for you. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.

During the Treatment

The treatment starts with us applying on your skin an anaesthetic cream in order to make sure that you will feel no pain. We will then inject a small amount of diluted botox into specific areas of the skin. You will feel a small pinprick when the injections are performed. Apart from that, there is no pain associated with this treatment.

After the Treatment

After the treatment you will notice that the sweating levels will decrease in the next 48 hours.

RESULTS

You will start to see results gradually over the first 2 weeks after the treatment, with the result lasting up to a year.
